The action continues this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship and the play-off race remains one of the main focal points as we go into these final weeks.

A number of sides will still feel as though they can break into the top six come the end of the campaign and, after their win over Wigan, Hull City still harbour those hopes.

Led by Jarrod Bowen, who has had an excellent season, the Tigers are poised to pounce on any slip-ups the clubs above them might well suffer.

However, even if they do go up this year, speculation about the attacker's future is going to be rife with Tottenham in particular apparently keen and watching him closely.

If he was to leave the club, then, what would be the impacts - or potential ones - that the Tigers would have to contend with?

We take a closer look...

A relegation battle?

Hull were threatened with the drop last year and the start of this season suggested similar was on the way.

Eventually, they turned it around with Bowen excelling so, if he left, concerns may well raise about dropping back down the table. In the Premier League, too, their survival hopes would take a real hit.

Financial windfall

On a more positive note, Hull would receive a very welcome cash boost in seeing Bowen go.

They could surely command a fee over £20 million at least and that kind of money would be very welcome to a club that doesn't have the financial clout of some other sides in the league.

Reinvest, and the squad could be improved nicely.

A drop in player morale?

Bowen is the key man at Hull and so, if he left, his team-mates would surely be a little downhearted.

The likes of Kamil Grosicki and Fraizer Campbell offer good attacking threat, too, but there would be a dip in confidence in seeing Bowen leave, even though they'd surely wish him well with his crack at Spurs.
