Birmingham City’s new manager Harry Redknapp has given his first team news with injury updates ahead of his first match in charge, reports the club’s official website.
Harry Redknapp took over at Birmingham City earlier in the week after unpopular boss Gianfranco Zola resigned from his post.
After taking the club from play-off contenders to relegation candidates in just four months, with 2 wins in 24 games, Zola’s decision to resign was met with cheers from Blues fans.
Now they await to see what former West Ham, Tottenham, Portsmouth, Southampton and QPR boss Harry Redknapp can do, with the club sitting 3 points off the relegation places with 3 games to play.
Birmingham manager Redknapp confirmed that Tomasz Kuszczak is fit and available for the Second City derby clash with Aston Villa this weekend, despite going off at half time on Monday.
The goalkeeper has shrugged off a minor shoulder concern.
Birmingham’s only absentees are Michael Morrison (groin) and Clayton Donaldson (knee).
