Millwallâs on-loan goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski has earned his praise so far this season, but with this emerging statistic, it shows just how important heâs been to his side this season.
Of all the goalkeepers in the Championship this season, none have made as many saves as Millwallâs Bartosz Bialkowski.
The Pole signed for the Lions on a season-long loan at the start of the season from relegated Ipswich Town.
Heâs so far proved a keen acquisition from Neil Harris who brought him to the club, and fans have quickly warmed to the stopper.
Bialkowski, 32, began his career in his native Poland before signing with Southampton in 2006.
He spent six years on the south coast, playing mostly as the back-up keeper - he made just 22 league appearances for the Saints in those six years.
After a couple of unsuccessful loan-spells with Ipswich Town and Barnsley as a Southampton player, he left the club for Notts County 2012.
Bialkowski was at County for two seasons where he played over 80 times for the club, finally finding himself as a preferred number one.
His form was quickly spotted by Ipswich, who'd not played him in his brief loan-spell at the club previously.
But he became an instant hit at Portman Road after signing in 2014, and has played almost 200 games for the Tractor Boys since.
He was an ever-present figure in their relegation last season, and was deserving of a Championship spot despite his clubâs poor performance.
It lead to a loan-move to Millwall in the summer and after playing every minute of his sideâs Championship campaign so far, he and Millwall havenât looked back since.

Though heâs kept just three clean sheets this season, heâs made a staggering 51 saves in goal for Millwall, beating the likes of Bristol Cityâs Dan Bentley and the highly-rated Swansea City youngster Freddie Woodman.
Poland has produced some reliable, often underrated keepers in the past - Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny for example - Bialkowski fits that bill.
Heâs proved a solid signing for each club heâs been at, but so often goes unnoticed by fans and pundits because he is so reliable - after these stats have emerged, he might get some of the credit he deserves.
Millwall would love to sign him permanently next season, but with Ipswich looking likely to return to the Championship, theyâll surely want him back at Portman Road.
