Former West Bromwich Albion caretaker manager James Shan has sent a message to Tosin Adarabioyo, after the Manchester City defender joined Blackburn Rovers on loan.
Adarabioyo completed his move to Blackburn yesterday, signing a season-long loan deal at Ewood Park.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at West Brom, making 36 appearances in all competitions and helping the Baggies secure their place in the Championship play-offs.
Shan worked with Adarabioyo during his time as a first-team coach and caretaker manager at West Brom last season and sent a message to the defender on social media after his move to Ewood Park was confirmed.
Adarabioyo posted an update, saying that he is looking forward to a new challenge with Blackburn. Shan responded to his message, wishing him all the best for his loan and admitted that he is looking forward to watching him play season.
Good luck @TosinAdarabioyo I’ll enjoy coming to see you play this season ????

Adarabioyo could make his debut for Blackburn against Charlton Athletic at Ewood Park on the opening day of the season this weekend.
Adarabioyo is a very talented player. He obviously has the potential to be something special, otherwise he wouldn’t be at a top club like Manchester City.
He was an important player for West Brom in the Championship last season and another loan move is probably the best thing for his development.
I think he could be a great signing for Blackburn on loan and I’m expecting him to play an important role at Ewood Park this season.
Shan will know all about his quality having worked with him at West Brom last season and I’m sure the defender will appreciate this message from his former coach, as he looks to begin the next chapter of his career with Blackburn.
