Nottingham Forest secured a huge win against rivals Derby County last night that will have everyone at the club believing a top six finish is possible this season.

Martin O'Neill has done a very good job since he was appointed as Reds boss and the fans and the club seem to be united.

However, the ex-Celtic boss is working with a very big squad at the moment and some players are sure to be unhappy at a lack of game time.

And, one man who will fall into that category is Januaary signing Pele - who still hasn't played for Forest.

The 27-year-old arrived on deadline day last month and whilst it was a surprising move, he had good pedigree having joined from Monaco.

With a real physicality as well as good technique, he seemed ideally suited to the Championship but there were also doubts as to whether O'Neill was behind the decision to bring him in.

After all, the manager will have struggled to have seen him play and the club were already well-stocked in central midfield and the recent signs suggest he wasn't wanted by the Irishman.

As mentioned, Pele has yet to play but what's more worrying for the former Rio Ave man is that several players are ahead of him in the pecking order.

Youngster Ryan Yates has established himself as a regular in the side from nowhere, whilst Ben Watson is also featuring alongside regulars like Ben Osborn and Jack Colback.

With Adlene Guedioura and Claudio Yacob among other options in that role, O'Neill really is spoilt for choice.

That means Pele could be set for a very frustrating few months as he watches Forest's play-off push from the bench or even the stands, and he may well be regretting his move to the City Ground already.
