With only four days to go until the January transfer window slams shut, Nottingham Forest fans will be urging the club to sign a striker before Friday's deadline.

The Reds will be desperate to sign another centre-forward to provide cover for leading goalscorer Lewis Grabban, who is currently the only out-and-out striker on the club's books at present.

Rafa Mir played as back-up to Grabban in the first-half of the season, but after becoming frustrated with his lack of game time, Wolves recalled the Spaniard and sent him out on loan to Huesca.

Since then, plenty of strikers have been linked with a potential move to the City Ground, but nothing has materialised as of yet.

One player who has also been mentioned a considerable amount this month is Tyler Walker, with some fans urging the club to recall him from his loan spell at Lincoln City.

Walker - the scorer of 26 goals on loan at League Two side Mansfield Town last term - has scored 16 goals for Lincoln this season, and is undoubtedly one of the best forwards in the third tier.

For some, it seems like a no-brainer to recall Walker from his spell at Sincil Bank due to his prolific form in front of goal, but others think this would be bad for his development, going from a regular starter to a back-up option.

Here, then, we take a look at what Forest fans have been saying about their homegrown star...
