Loads of Fulham fans have reacted to the impressive weekend performance of right-back Cyrus Christie as the Whites' saw off Preston North End 2-0 on Saturday.

Christie was not even involved in the starting XI but with Joe Bryan having to leave the action with an injury just nine minutes in, his moment came - albeit on the other side of the back-four.

After a cagey first-half Scott Parker's side edged in front just before the hour mark through an unlikely source as North End striker David Nugent fired into his own net from Anthony Knockaert's cross.

Christie came close to an equaliser himself before they were finally able to make the points safe.

Following a Preston corner, Michael Hector was able to clear for Aboubakar Kamara. The winger thundered down the pitch before squaring the ball to Ivan Cavaleiro, who then returned the favour, allowing Kamara to rap up the points.

Despite not getting on the scoresheet, Christie still came in for plenty of praise when his post-match comments were shared on Twitter...
