Derby County are said to be set to appoint a well-known administration firm that have experience with struggling clubs and are confident of finding a buyer, which has caused a stir among many Rams fans.
Derby announced on Friday evening that they planned to file for administration while the EFL have confirmed that will see them receive a 12-point deduction.
Wayne Rooney’s side produced a resilient display to beat promotion hopefuls Stoke City on Saturday but the impending points deduction will still see them drop to the bottom of the Championship.
