‘Really poor’ – Plenty of Birmingham City fans react to one player’s recent showing v Derby County

Birmingham City fell to a disappointing 4-0 defeat to relegation-threatened rivals Derby County on Tuesday evening at St. Andrew’s. 

The Blues fell behind after 15 minutes when Krystian Bielik opened the scoring, before Graeme Shinne doubled that lead from the penalty spot, after Harlee Dean brought down Louie Sibley in the penalty area.

Colin Kazim-Richards then fired home from close-range to see the Rams head into the break three goals ahead. Derby youngster Jason Knight then wrapped up the win with their fourth of the match, with 13 minutes remaining of the contest.

Birmingham goalkeeper Neil Etheridge will certainly feel as though he could have dealt better with Derby’s opener on the day, as he spilt the ball from a routine cross, which gifted them the first goal of the match.

Etheridge has been a regular for Aitor Karanka’s side, but has made some costly errors in recent weeks, despite putting in some strong performances for the Blues.
