Charlie Wyke continued his purple patch in front of goal by scoring Sunderland's winner in their victory at Ipswich Town on Tuesday.

The former Bradford City striker managed just 11 goals across the previous two seasons since making the switch from Yorkshire, but is currently enjoying an outstanding campaign and is on course for his best goalscoring return.

His first-half strike at Portman Road took his tally to the campaign 14 goals, but it was the late performance of on-loan Wolves man Dion Sanderson which really caught the eye of many Black Cats fans.

Quiz: Who has done more of these 15 things out of Sunderland and Newcastle?

Sanderson has only made nine appearances following his season-long loan move from Wolves, and has been restrcited to just two League One starts since Christmas.

But the 21-year-old defender was introduced for the final 25 minutes at Portman Road, and impressed as Sunderland recorded their third clean sheet in the space of four matches.

Sanderson was a regular during his loan with Cardiff last season, and will be hoping to oversee more minutes in the coming weeks as the North East side continue their climb up the standings.
