Notts County have recently confirmed the signing of experienced midfielder Jim O’Brien.
The 31-year-old arrives at Meadow Lane after the termination of his contract at Bradford City – he joined the Yorkshire club in September, but recently saw his contract be cut short at Valley Parade, after making sixteen appearances for the Yorkshire club.
The Scottish winger, who can also operate as a central midfielder, is a very experienced addition for the Magpies, who are currently struggling at the wrong end of the Sky Bet League Two table. Neal Ardley’s men have won just one of their last fifteen league games, and sit rock bottom of the table, three points adrift of safety.
Having racked up a total of over 250 career appearances, the signing of O’Brien is likely to satisfy a lot of County fans, who have looked extremely weak in the middle of the park this season.
Here, we take a look at their fans’ reactions to the latest signing at Meadow Lane…
Yeah just by looking at him, you can tell – he’s defo gonna break legs in this league! ????????
