Ipswich Town are set to say goodbye to defender Janoi Donacien as fellow League One side Fleetwood Town are poised to complete his signing.

Local reports have confirmed that Donacien will join the Cod Army today for the rest of the season, Lancashire being a place that the St Lucian seems to thrive after a successful time at Accrington Stanley between 2016 and 2018.

His performances at Stanley were what prompted then-manager Paul Hurst to swoop for him, but he was not fancied by replacement Paul Lambert and he was shipped back to Accy on loan.

Donacien was used sporadically by Lambert last season, making 13 league appearances but he has rarely even been in the squad during the current campaign.

Experienced Luke Chambers has been the first-choice right back in the absence of Kane Vincent-Young and Donacien's impending departure doesn't leave the Tractor Boys with much cover should something happen to their skipper.

Can you name each of these 17 ex-Ipswich Town players just by looking at these 3 clues?

But it was time for the club to not hold Donacien back any longer according to assistant manager Stuart Taylor, who needs game-time and a further factor being that the club need to abide by salary cap rules.

Ipswich fans have been reacting to the news and it's safe to say that there is a lot of worry that the club may not have enough cover in the position that Donacien is vacating.
