Bristol City teenager Han-Noah Massengo made his debut against QPR in the Carabao Cup last night and many Robins fans are excited about the 18-year-old’s performance.

City were knocked out by QPR on penalties at Loftus Road after the game finished 3-3.

Johnson lined up a second-choice side for the visit to Loftus Road with Massengo starting in midfield alongside Liam Walsh.

The Frenchman put in a promising display, showing some real flashes of quality and playing positively throughout.

He played himself into trouble at times and he tired late on but overall he showed some really exciting potential.

Massengo joined the club this summer from Monaco for a reported fee in the region of £7.3 million and signed a four-year deal at Ashton Gate.

The 18-year-old made seven senior appearances for the French side, including facing Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

He has made a positive start in English football and seems to have made a good first impression with large parts of the Ashton Gate faithful.
