Bristol City teenager Han-Noah Massengo made his debut against QPR in the Carabao Cup last night and many Robins fans are excited about the 18-year-old’s performance.
City were knocked out by QPR on penalties at Loftus Road after the game finished 3-3.
Johnson lined up a second-choice side for the visit to Loftus Road with Massengo starting in midfield alongside Liam Walsh.
The Frenchman put in a promising display, showing some real flashes of quality and playing positively throughout.
He played himself into trouble at times and he tired late on but overall he showed some really exciting potential.
The 18-year-old made seven senior appearances for the French side, including facing Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
He has made a positive start in English football and seems to have made a good first impression with large parts of the Ashton Gate faithful.
Many City fans were impressed by his performance and took to Twitter to praise their teenage midfielder after the game.

Things learnt from tonight… Taylor Moore has to play next to Kalas in he league moving forward. Wright is so far out of his depth and shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team. Massengo has some real class about him, looks bright and innovative, still raw though.

Walsh bad/good/bad. City hit and miss. Ref useless. Massengo looks a player. Too much to summarise. On to pens. pic.twitter.com/fPQSFrJpD8

Good football at times / Messengo looks class and once fully settled will be a gem / worrying amount of space given first half with QPR running off our midfield / Bailey Wright all at sea and must now be 4th choice / Taylor Moore looked assured #positives

Massengo's speed of thought was great. Would like to see him in a midfield 3 with Brownhill and Nagy.
In the snapshot of seeing SS I wouldn't say he is ready for championship, Pato Is/was better. Bailey Wright isn't good enough and the loss of AW is abundantly clear.

Poor old Wright looks bereft of confidence, when he stepped up to take his kick I’d have bet my house on him not scoring. Great fun aside of that! Assured debut from young Massengo, love the way he wins those 50-50 balls
