Reading are set to offer goalkeeper Adam Federici a new deal at the Berkshire club, according to the Sun.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper has had a fantastic season for the Royals and has been a club stalwart, having been at the club since 2005.
The Australian shot-stopper stole the headlines last Saturday after he let an Alexis Sanchez shot squirm under him, to subsequently put Arsenal in to the final of the FA Cup.
Despite that one blunder, Federici was superb the whole match and made a string of incredible saves to keep Steve Clarke’s well in the semi-final.
Federici has been an ever-present figure in the Reading first-team this season, and has accumulated 40 appearances for the club in all competitions.
The keeper has been a target for Ronald Koeman’s Southampton, as reported on FLW, however this now looks like it won’t happen with the Aussie ace set to pen a new deal at the Madejski Stadium.
Reading currently sit in 19th place in the Sky Bet Championship, having amassed 47 points from 42 league games thus far this season.
