Reading ready to make loan offer for Premier League outcast

According to Get Reading, Reading are interested in a January loan move for Jordon Mutch.

Jordon Mutch is very much out of favour at Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace at the moment and has only made three appearances this season with just one in the Premier League.

Jaap Stam might look to boost their midfield options in January and Jordon Mutch has been identified as an ideal target.

Get Reading understand that Reading are interested in bringing the 25-year-old to the Madejski Stadium initially on loan but with an option of a permanent deal.

The former England under-21 international has played for Birmingham City, Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers in his career before joining Crystal Palace for around £5m back in January 2015.

Mutch is predominantly a central midfielder but he can also play as an attacking midfielder or a winger if needed.

He might be tempted by the move to Reading after struggling for game time at Palace.

Reading fans – would you take Mutch at the club? Is a loan with an option to buy the best deal? Let us know in the comments below…
