Reading remain in the relegation battle this season as we head towards the final few games of the campaign.

The men from the Madejski Stadium have had a real shocker of a campaign where they've gone from Premier League hopefuls to League One candidates.

They're currently in a safe position but, with things capable of changing around rapidly, there's still a chance that they could go down.

Regardless of what happens in the summer, though, it is clear that Paul Clement will want to shake things up in the transfer window and clear out players he doesn't think are good enough.

That in mind, then, let's take a look at three players who could potentially be facing the axe in the upcoming market...

Danzell Gravenberch hasn't had much to shout about during his Reading career and would surely be better off leaving and looking for pastures new.

When a new manager comes in you can usually expect a few fringe players to be given a new lease of life but there's surely no chance of that happening here with Paul Clement.

Gravenberch needs to find a club where he can play football often.

Similarly, Wieser should look to find a permanent move away from the Madejski Stadium if he can.

The man from Liechtenstein is currently away from the club on loan and it might be best if he looked to make his stay away from the club a more long-term thing.

Reading have struggled for goals and attacking verve this season but Clement will surely look at others ways to try and rectify that.

Blackett has some ability but it does seem as though his time at Reading has been tough at times.

Paul Clement might feel that he's going to give the defender a chance over the last few games of the season but there's every chance he'll want to add options to his defence in the summer window.

It could be a big few weeks for Blackett.
