Reading attacking midfielder Jake Taylor has signed for Leyton Orient until the end of the season, Orient have confirmed.
The Welsh international’s natural role is more central, but was a regular in Reading’s side at the beginning of the season playing as a left midfielder, where he managed to amass three goals.
The O’s will help he can bring more goals to fire them to safety. They’re currently three points off of safety and if they were to gain those three points, and the teams around them were to lose, they would climb out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
Orient manager Fabio Liverani told the Leyton Orient Official Website: “Jake is a very good player and is a good option for us because he can play wide or central.
“We have had him watched and he has played a number of games in the Championship for Reading this season. We are happy to have been able to bring Jake in and he will add something to different to what we already have available to us.”
Taylor is a Royals academy graduate who has been at the club since seven years old and is in contention to play against Port Vale at Brisbane Road this season.
Reading are currently 19th in the Championship and have accumulated 44 points this season, whilst Leyton Orient are 22nd in League One and have amassed 39 points this season.
