Reading have endured a rather inconsistent start to the Championship season so far, but since Mark Bowen has come in to the club they seem a team revived.

The Royals have picked up 10 points out of a possible 12, and have been brilliant since the Welshman came into the club. They have quite a few strong individuals, but one has set the bar very high and has been simply outstanding so far this season.

That player is Ovie Ejaria. The Liverpool loanee has been in great form for Reading and his footwork and dribbling skills have set the Championship alight and has got supporters talking saying that he's one of the, if not the best in the league.

He actually played for the Royals for the second-half of last season on loan, but didn't quite hit the heights that he has done so far this campaign.

What's made him so good is the responsibility that himself and teammate John Swift now have in the centre of the park for Reading. There aim isn't necessarily to control the game, but when they get the ball they're there to create chances, and that is exactly what both have done.

Ejaria's Reading face Brentford on Saturday, and the Bees have a player who is highly regarded in the division. Said Benrahma has often won games single-handedly for Thomas Frank's side and they now will go up against Reading after this current international break.

It's the perfect time to see two sides go up against each other, with each one containing of the league's best players. Ejaria now has the opportunity to showcase his talent in front of supporters that will think that their player is the best in the league.

It should be interesting to see who comes out on top, and whether the attacking midfielder can carry on this remarkable run of form that has seen him help climb Reading up the table and push on for different aims.
