Reading have bid accepted for Portugal striker Orlando Sa

The former Fulham striker is on Steve Clarke's list of targets this summer as he prepares to overhaul his squad this summer after a poor season in the Championship.

Chinese side Hebei China Fortune and AEK Athens were interested in the 27-year-old but couldn't cough up the £1 million fee required to prize him away from the Polish side.

Sa has had a somewhat prolific career, scoring 45 times in 138 appearances, and has been at a total of seven clubs throughout his career.

Reading are hoping to make that number eight, after a season where he scored 14 goals in 31 appearances.

Royals striker Pavel Pogrebnyak could be off to the Ukraine this summer, but Clarke has made it clear that he's in the market for forwards to bolster his squad after they struggled for goals during the last campaign.
