Reading FC winger, Modou Barrow has been linked with a move to two unnamed Turkish teams according to journalist, Courtney Friday.
Barrow has been in good form for the Royals this season, scoring four goals and assisting six times as Reading confirmed their Championship status for another season.
But his impressive performances seemingly haven’t gone unnoticed, with interest already being registered in signing the pacy winger.
Reading are battling to stay within the FFP restrictions currently imposed on the club, and it’s likely that we’ll see potential departures at the Madejski Stadium over the summer.
Barrow’s Reading team-mate, Yakou Meite has called out the Gambian after the rumour emerged, and evidently isn’t keen to see him depart the club in a message on his Twitter account.
Im not happy man @modoubarrow14

Barrow was quick to respond, and Reading fans could be slightly concerned, as he didn’t appear to rule out a potential move elsewhere before next year’s campaign gets underway in August.

Both Barrow and Meite were key to Reading surviving last season, as they chipped in with some notable contributions to win Jose Gomes’ side valuable points.
It’s set to be an interesting season for Gomes’ men, as they look for a higher-placed finish in the Championship, which will certainly be a tough ask if they are to sell some of their key players over the summer.
The pair have really impressed me.
I had my doubts about Meite in particular, but he has stepped up to the mark when needed for Reading, as they avoided relegation to League One last season.
He needs the service from Barrow that he received in last year’s campaign, and he’d struggle without him, that’s for sure.
