Reading FC touted as potential destination for soon to be out of contract 56-year-old manager

Carlos Carvalhal could be a contender to become the next manager of Reading, The Sun journalist Phil Cadden has reported.
The Royals recently secured their Championship status for another season, having taken 15 points from 12 games since Paul Ince was appointed as the club’s caretaker manager.
Now though, it seems as though the Royals are identifying potential replacements, in case they need a change in the dugout again in the summer.
Does the Select Car Leasing Stadium have a bigger or smaller capacity than these 20 grounds?
According to this latest update, Carvalhal could be an option to take over at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, if Ince does not take on the managerial role with the Royals on a permanent basis.
Carvalhal is currently in charge of Braga, who sit fourth in the Portuguese top-flight, but is out of contract with the club at the end of this season.
It is also thought that the 56-year-old is keen on a return to English football, something Reading may offer him, having previously taken charge of Swansea in the Premier League, and Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.

The Verdict
This may not be a bad appointment for Reading to make in all honesty.
Admittedly, the impressive job he has done means you do feel that Ince may deserve the opportunity to take charge of the Royals on a full-time basis.
However, if he does not want that role, then Carvalhal could be a decent replacement, given he clearly knows what he is doing in the Championship, having taken Wednesday to the play-offs in back to back seasons.
His success with Braga recently – ending Porto’s 58-game unbeaten run in the league on Monday – also backs up the potential to do a job that he possesses, and the fact he is out of contract in the summer could suit Reading from a financial perspective as well.
