The goalkeeper will be hoping that he can make an instant impact at the Madejski Stadium, as he has big shoes to fill between the sticks, with Arsenal’s Emiliano Martinez putting in a number of impressive performances whilst on loan with the Gomes’ side last season.
This is his first loan spell in England, and he’ll be keen to make a name for himself, in order to challenge for a first-team spot at Everton in the future.
Loader is one of the brightest prospects at Reading, and we’re starting to see glimpses of his quality in front of goal in recent months.
He netted his first professional goal against Middlesbrough late into last season, and he’s clearly a player full of confidence, as he netted a hat-trick in Reading’s 10-0 win over Gibraltar United recently.
The youngster has been linked with a move to Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus earlier this year (according to Goal), but Reading will be hoping they can do everything they can to keep hold of their striker.
