Reading FC set to rival Wolves to the signature of clinical striker

Reading FC are set to rival Wolves and Rotherham United to the signature of Hibernian striker Jason Cummings in January, according to the Daily Record.

The Championship trio are set to send scouts to watch the clinical striker in action for the club against Rangers, ahead of a possible move in the upcoming January transfer window.

The 20-year-old arrived at Hibernian in 2013 and has now begun earning himself a reputation as one of the most sought after strikers in Scottish football.

He has also picked up four caps for the Scotland Under-21’s, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Cummings plying his trade in the Sky Bet Championship very soon.

At the age of just 20, Cummings has a sizeable amount of playing time left so he is only going to mature and develop as a footballer.

Hibs will undoubtedly want to keep hold of their excellent striker past January, but if a significant offer is placed for the striker, a move away may be too hard to resist.

Fans of Reading, Wolves and Rotherham….. Do you know much about Cummings? Do you need a new striker in January? Let us know your thoughts below!
