Reading forward Danny Loader has delivered a message to fans on social media, amid speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

The 18-year-old scored one goal in 21 Championship appearances in his debut season for the Royals this term, becoming an important player for Jose Gomes' side.

The striker has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as Italian giants Juventus, according to Goal.

Loader is entering the final year of his contract at the Madejski Stadium and Reading will be keen to keep hold of the player.

Amid the recent speculation, the striker posted this photo on his personal Instagram account, adding a message saying: "Hungry for more...".

It remains to be seen as to what his message means, but it could be a subtle hint that Loader could be keen to play his football at a higher level.

Reading finished 20th in the Championship table, seven points above the relegation zone, with Loader playing an important role in helping his side avoid the drop.

An interesting summer awaits for Loader, and it's likely to be the last we hear of speculation linking him with a move away from the Madejski Stadium.

The Verdict:

Loader clearly has a lot of potential and could have what it takes to become a top player in the future.

I'm sure Reading will want him to remain at the Madejski Stadium ahead of next season, but with so many clubs interested, it could prove difficult and the teenager may find a move to the Premier League very tempting.

With a host of top-flight clubs interested, he will need to consider his options very carefully and it will interesting to see where he ends up.
