Reading are closing in on another summer signing and this time it’s Leicester City’s Liam Moore who is reportedly close to signing at the Madejski – according to Get Reading.
Jaap Stam looks set to bring the defender in on-loan, after original reports had suggested that Moore could be signing on a permanent deal.
But after signing a new deal with the Premier League champions, a loan move is thought to be where the deal is heading, with the option to sign the defender on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Moore struggled to feature in Leicester’s title winning season, making just one appearances as they shocked the nation and claimed a shock Premier League title.
Instead, he spent time on-loan at Bristol City where he made 10 appearances as The Robins came 18th in the Championship last season.
The Royals are also hoping to wrap up the signing of the 23-year-old before their game against Wolves on Saturday.
