Reading are reportedly interested in signing Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer, according to a report by the Sun
The Royals are still looking to add a few new faces to the squad before the end of the loan window this month, and manager Paul Clement has reportedly identified Dyer as the ideal signing.
Dyer is on the periphery of the squad at the Liberty Stadium at the moment under new manager Graham Potter, and he could well be open to a short term move to Berkshire as he seeks regular first team football.
The 30-year-old has been with Swansea since 2009 but enjoyed a spell with Leicester City a few seasons back as he managed to nab himself a Premier League winners medal as part of the successful Foxes squad which defied the odds and won the top flight title.
The Swans are still looking to move players on following their relegation from the Premier League last time out and Dyer is just one of a host of players who will be allowed to leave before the end of August.
Dyer has had previous spells with Southampton and Sheffield United, and would add an element of pace and experience to a Reading team whom many expect to struggle this term.
