Reading have not had the best of seasons so far and it looks as though the Royals are now shaking things up to try and sort that out.
The men from the Madejski Stadium came into this campaign hoping that things would prove brighter than last year under Jaap Stam and then Paul Clement.
So far, though, they remain a relegation-threatened side and that has led their current manager, Clement, to come under increased pressure.
However, he remains in the job as he is just about getting the results needed to keep afloat ahead of the festive period.
One man that has gone, though, is Ron Gourlay with the Chief Executive leaving with immediate effect:
Reading Football Club can announce that Ron Gourlay has decided to step down from his role as Chief Executive and leaves the club with immediate effect.

Gourlay has attracted criticism himself in recent times with his running of the club and role in recent downturn of fortunes.
It remains to be seen who comes in to replace him and how they do but at least this is something that many Royals might be pleased with.
Whether or not it sees results on the pitch improve is up for debate, though, as that is more down to Clement and his players of course.
