Sky Bet Championship side Reading, as well as League One sides Wigan Athletic and Sheffield United are interested in signing Wycombe Wanderers youngster Aaron Pierre, according to Get Bucks.
The 22-year-old only joined Wycombe in 2014 on an initial loan spell back in February 2014, before joining permanently in the summer from parent club Brentford.
He then played a major role in their promotion campaign of last year that saw them lose out in the League Two play off final to Southend United, and has impressed again this year with two goals already for the Chairboys.
His mature performances in the fourth tier have subsequently won the attractions of Championship side Reading and League One sides Sheffield United and Wigan Athletic, who are looking at the centre half to bolster their backlines ahead of the end of the transfer window.
Pierre looks an excellent young centre back and though he may not be ready for the step up to a Championship side like Reading, he could certainly fit right in for a League One side.
