George Puscas has shared his lust for football on Instagram, after nearly two months without a professional fixture.
The Romanian divides opinion like no other. Some Reading fans love him and think he’ll go on to be a superstar, whilst others think he’s overrated, and not worth the £8 million they paid for him last year.
But through all of that debate, Puscas has never let his head or work-rate drop, and that mantra has been winning him more and more fans over the course of the campaign.
Here’s what he posted on his Instagram yesterday:
Even with no football, Puscas has been the centre of debate. Being the big money signing that he was last summer, rumours were starting to appear on social media that the club were looking at selling Puscas to relieve some of their financial hardship.
No concrete news has appeared regarding Puscas’ future, and the Romanian is staying focused solely on his football, and getting back in the action.

With 11 goals in all competitions this season, Puscas’ maiden voyage into English football has barely been a failure. He’s had spells of inconsistency but he’s progressed well, and should be in-line to have an even better second season should he stay.
Reading fans would no doubt love to see Puscas stay and be successful with the club, but needs must, and if Reading need quick money in the coming months then their first thought will be to offload Puscas.
It’d be a sad end to his career in Berkshire, but we should be a way off that possibility yet.
