After an impressive debut season in management with Derby County, Frank Lampard looks set to return to Stamford Bridge and become the new manager of Chelsea Football Club.

The 41-year-old has taken to management like a duck to water, guiding the Rams to the Sky Bet Championship play-off final where they narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League.

But the former Blues midfielder looks set to return to his old stomping ground, with Derby recently granting Chelsea permission to speak to the former England international.

With pre-season training underway, Derby will be on the lookout for a new manager, and it is claimed that Darren Moore and Garry Monk are two names on the club's radar, as per the Daily Mail.

The latter recently parted company with Birmingham City, after off-field problems took their toll and ended their chances of finishing in the play-off spots last season, after being deducted nine points for breaching profitability rules.
