West Bromwich Albion have made a very promising start to the season under Slaven Bilic and currently sit top of the Championship table.

After taking charge at the Hawthorns this summer, Bilic brought in several new players, as he looked to put his own stamp on the squad and build a team capable of challenging for automatic promotion.

The Croatian added some very exciting and talented players, and has been able to get the Baggies playing some very attractive football.

There is still a long way to go yet, but if the team's early-season performances are anything to go by, Baggies fans have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about their side's promotion chances.

According to WhoScored.com, here are the top three West Brom players with the best pass success ratio so far this season...

3. Filip Krovinovic

In third place is Filip Krovinovic. The 24-year-old became Bilic’s first signing as West Brom head coach when he joined the Baggies on a season-long loan from Benfica. The attacking midfielder has produced a number of eye-catching displays so far and has impressed with his ability on the ball and his range of passing. The Croatian playmaker has made twelve appearances so far and has a pass success rate of 86.8%. He's made an average of 33.2 passes per game. Bilic is a big fan of the Krovinovic, having followed his career since his early days with NK Zagreb in Croatia. You imagine that he'll be very pleased with the start that the on-loan Benfica man has made to life at West Brom. 2. Kieran Gibbs In second place is Kieran Gibbs. The 30-year-old was an important player for West Brom last season, but he's only made five appearances so far this term due to injury. The experienced left-back has still impressed when he's played and has rarely given the ball away. The former Arsenal man has a pass competition rate of 87.4%. He's made an average 47.8 passes per game. He doesn't make that many key passes, but he very rarely gives the ball away. 1. Romaine Sawyers It shouldn't come as a surprise that Romaine Sawyers is in first place. After returning to West Brom from Brentford in the summer, the 27-year-old has been one of the standout players for the Baggies and he looks as though he could be an excellent signing. The midfielder has been one of the best, most underrated passers of the ball in the Championship over the past few seasons and has a pass success rate of 92.1% so far this season. Sawyers registered seven assists for Brentford last season and although he's yet to create any goals this term, he's made an average of 63.4 passes per game and is so instrumental to the possession-based style of football that West Brom play under Bilic.
