It's ten years since Queens Park Rangers secured a famous title win in the Sky Bet Championship as they rose to the top of the tree under manager Neil Warnock.

One of several promotions that Warnock achieved in his career, this one was particularly special as he put together a QPR side full of real grit and fight mixed with stardust and creative guile.

Indeed, it was a fantastic season for Hoops fans to enjoy and the following season we saw Rangers remain in the Premier League, though Warnock's time in west London came to an end during that particular campaign.

Here, though, we're looking back at some of the successes Warnock enjoyed at QPR with us running down his best signings during his time at the club...

Kyle Walker joined on loan for the first half of the 2010/11 season and quickly showed the sort of quality that, of course, would eventually lead him to becoming an England international and serial title winner at Manchester City.

QPR were short on right-backs to start the season thanks to injury problems and he came in and did a good job, staying until the January window. Indeed, he helped QPR on their way to the title that season and moved to Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the campaign as his Premier League potential and quality began to shine through.

Wayne Routledge is up next as another member of the promotion winning team at Queens Park Rangers in the 2010/11 Championship season.

The winger, a bit like Tommy Smith, was best known in this country for his time playing for another club – this time Crystal Palace - but his spell at QPR will also be fondly looked back on with Warnock signing him on loan during the title winning year, not long after he’d left the club.

He hit five goals from 20 appearances during that season.

Tommy Smith joined Queens Park Rangers from Portsmouth in 2010 and was a regular as he was involved in helping the R’s achieve promotion to the Premier League in the 2010/11 season.

A busy, hard-working attacker, you could see why Neil Warnock liked him and over his 50 league appearances he scored eight goals for the Hoops between time in the Championship and the Premier League.

He left the Hoops in 2012 to move to Cardiff City and helped them into the Premier League for the 2013/14 season whilst he also played for the likes of Brentford and Derby though it was at Watford we saw him feature most of all.

Paddy Kenny was a real favourite of Neil Warnock’s and once again they linked up at Queens Park Rangers to achieve some real success.

Kenny played most notably for Sheffield United during his career and made over 260 league appearances during his time at Bramall Lane, many of which came under Neil Warnock as the Blades earned promotion to the Premier League.

In 2010, Kenny and Warnock linked up once more and he quickly made himself the number one at the club, helping them to the Championship title in 2010/11. He made over 70 league appearances for Rangers.

Jamie Mackie joined Queens Park Rangers in 2010 and enjoyed a fruitful time under Neil Warnock with him helping them to the title in his first season in playing for the club.

Mackie scored 18 goals in 85 league appearances for Rangers with him helping them into the Premier League at the end of the 2010/11 season.

A busy attacker that always had the fans praising him for his hard-running up front, one of Mackie’s best moments in a QPR shirt came against Liverpool as Rangers turned a 2-0 defeat into a 3-2 win via his late winner.

He suffered a nasty leg break during his time at the club and that limited his game-time but he still had a great impact.

Clint Hill was a top servant to Queens Park Rangers with Neil Warnock bringing him over to west London from south London in July 2010.

Warnock and Hill worked together at Crystal Palace in the couple of seasons prior and it was clear they had a good relationship, with them both quickly getting QPR on the right path.

Hill was at Rangers for six years and made just shy of 170 league appearances during his time there before moving to the Glasgow variety in 2016.

He now works as an assistant to former Hoops player Joey Barton at Bristol Rovers.

Shaun Derry was another real favourite at Queens Park Rangers that also came in from Crystal Palace.

The midfielder joined Rangers from Palace in 2010 as he linked up with the likes of Clint Hill and Neil Warnock once again and he helped forge a QPR side that was so strong down its spine and really tough to beat.

They quickly had all the ingredients for a win in the Championship and so that proved as they sealed the title in the 2010/11 season.

Derry was at the club between 2010 and 2013 and he made over 90 league appearances for the Hoops.

Adel Taarabt rounds off our list with Neil Warnock opting in August 2010 to make his loan deal a permanent one from Tottenham – something he would certainly live to see pay off.

Taarabt quickly became a QPR hero with his mind-boggling skills and that 10/11 season was arguably his very best in his career to date with the way he helped fire the Hoops into the Premier League.

He was a player that could do the unthinkable and was at times unstoppable in the Championship during his time in west London.

He was at the club for five years with some loan spells towards the end of that and he left in 2015 for Benfica.
