Huddersfield Town have had their fair share of players over the years that have been excellent servants to the Yorkshire-based club.

The Terriers had previously been playing their football in the Premier League, but are now back in the Championship, whilst under the management of Carlos Corberan.

Huddersfield have endured a frustrating league campaign to date as well, as they currently sit 20th in the second-tier standings, as they head into their final two matches of the 2020/21 season.

Corberan's side are winless in their last two matches, and will be eager to get back to winning ways, after they were thrashed 5-2 in their most recent game, which came at Ewood Park against Blackburn Rovers.

They're set to return to action next weekend against Coventry City, in what is likely to be another tricky test for the Terriers.

Matty Daly is the first name on the list at number ten, with the Huddersfield Town youngster being included in the first-team squad since July 1st 2019.

Daly has only made six appearances in all competitions for the Terriers in all competitions this season, and will be eager to will be hoping he can feature more regularly in future seasons.

The attacking midfielder has two years remaining on his current contract with Huddersfield Town, and could see more regular minutes if the likes of Alex Pritchard are to depart in the summer, with a number of players' contracts set to expire at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Lewis O'Brien is next up, with the Huddersfield Town midfielder being with the club's first-team setup since July 1st 2019.

He made his first-team debut earlier than that date, but was included in the Terriers' first-team squad officially ahead of the 2019/20 season.

O'Brien caught the eye with a number of impressive displays for Huddersfield in his first season with the club's first-team, and has gone on to establish himself as a regular in the first-team since then.

He has made 40 appearances in all competitions this term, and even captained the team for a few matches in this year's league campaign.

The Huddersfield Town supporters will be hoping that he can play a vital role in their future moving forwards.

Josh Koroma is eighth on the list, with the forward signing for the club in July 2019, after catching the eye with some strong performances for Leyton Orient.

The 22-year-old has missed a number of months of action through injury, but recently returned to the first-team against Barnsley.

He scored at the weekend, but it wasn't enough to prevent Carlos Corberan's side falling to a heavy 5-2 defeat at Ewood Park.

Huddersfield Town's supporters will be hoping that Koroma can stay injury-free heading into next year's campaign, with the forward showing that he can play an important role for the Terriers, with Koroma having seven goals to his name in all competitions this term.

Jaden Brown is next up, with the left-back signing for Huddersfield Town in July 2019, after a spell with Tottenham Hotspur reached a conclusion.

The defender failed to make a single senior appearance in his time with Spurs, and would have been eager to make a name for himself lower down the football pyramid.

Brown has gone on to make 14 appearances in total for Huddersfield Town, which will be slightly frustrating for the 22-year-old.

Harry Toffolo has recently returned from injury as well, so Brown might find regular minutes hard to find moving forwards, so a loan move elsewhere certainly shouldn't be ruled out.

Tommy Elphick is in at number six, with the experienced defender signing for the club after a spell with Aston Villa, which came to an end in July 2019.

Elphick has had spells with the likes of AFC Bournemouth and Reading in the past, but made the move to Yorkshire in 2019 in search of regular game time.

The defender has struggled with injuries in his time at the John Smith's Stadium though, which has resulted in Elphick not making a single appearance across all competitions this season.

With his contract set to expire at the end of this year's campaign, it wouldn't come as a surprise to see Huddersfield look at moving him on in the summer.

Bacuna is next on the list, with the midfielder signing for Huddersfield Town back in July 2018, from Dutch side FC Groningen.

Bacuna has gone on to feature regularly for the Terriers, and has made 42 appearances in all competitions this term, as Carlos Corberan's side continue to struggle in the second-tier.

He has chipped in with five goals and three assists so far this season, and will be hoping he can add to that tally before the end of this year's campaign.

At the age of 23, the club's supporters will be hoping they can see Bacuna play an important role for the club next season, especially if players are to depart at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Pritchard has been with Huddersfield Town since January 2018, after arriving from Norwich City.

The creative midfielder caught the eye with a number of impressive displays whilst with the Canaries, but has struggled in his time with the Terriers.

Pritchard has made 19 appearances in all competitions this term for the Yorkshire-based side, but is yet to score or assist a single goal for Carlos Corberan's side, which will be frustrating for both the midfielder and the club's supporters.

With his current contract set to reach a conclusion at the end of the 2020/21 season, it seems likely that he'll be heading for the exit door ahead of the new league campaign.

Ryan Schofield is the first name in the top-three, with the Huddersfield Town goalkeeper moving into the club's senior squad in the summer of 2017.

The shot-stopper has been with the club since 2008, and featured regularly in their academy teams, before moving into the first-team squad in 2017.

He had found regular game time hard to come by in the early stages of his senior career, but has made 28 appearances in all competitions this term for Carlos Corberan's side.

He'll be hoping he can play his part in the club's future moving forwards, with his current contract not set to expire until the summer of 2023.

Christopher Schindler is next up, with the Huddersfield Town captain being with the club since July 2016.

The defender signed from German side 1860 Munich, and has gone on to make 184 appearances in total for Huddersfield Town.

Schindler has been out injured since December 2020, and has left a sizeable void in the heart of their defence, as they struggle to get over the line in their bid for Championship survival.

His most notable contribution is likely to have been when he scored Huddersfield's winning penalty in the Championship play-off final against Reading back in 2017.

Jonathan Hogg is Huddersfield Town's current longest-serving player, with the Terriers midfielder being with the club since July 2013.

The midfielder has been a regular for Huddersfield Town over the years, and has made over 250 appearances for the Yorkshire-based club.

He was previously on the books with Watford before joining Huddersfield Town, and has featured heavily for the Terriers, both in the Championship and Premier League.

Hogg still has two years remaining on this contract with Huddersfield, and he'll be hoping his team can show improvement in next year's league campaign.
