Huddersfield Town have endured a whirlwind five years or so.

A dramatic rise in the Championship led to promotion to the Premier League, where the Terriers managed to stay for two seasons.

Now, they are looking to stabilise after dropping back into the Championship, with Danny Cowley at the helm and looking to stop Town from slipping into another relegation battle.

The squad has seen a number of players pass through it over the course of the last five seasons and that has led to us taking a unique look at the value of the Huddersfield group, with a little help from transfermarkt.

Here, we look at SEVEN players who have lost value since their debut for the club…

Chalobah’s valuation has decreased by £270k since the start of this season.

The Chelsea loanee is still valued at £2.43m, however, which isn’t bad considering his age.

Another loanee that has seen his value decrease since arriving in West Yorkshire is Willock.

£540k has dropped off his value since arriving at the club, with the forward now worth a reported £810k.

The experienced striker’s value has decreased by £720k since his debut for Town.

He’s still valued at over £1m, though, with his valuation coming in at £1.08m.

The defender has been hit by injury since arriving at Town and his value has decreased by £1.08m.

Now, he’s worth £720k, half of the £1.8m when he arrived at Town.

Another old head in the Town dressing room is Andy King, whose value has decreased £1.17m since arriving.

The former Premier League winner is now worth £1.08m.

Kongolo has been out on loan with Fulham, but his value has decreased from £9m to £7.20m.

That’s a fall of £1.8m and sees him second on this list.

Simpson is on his way out of Town at the end of this month and his market value has dropped a dramatic £2.43m in his time in West Yorkshire.

The right-back is worth £720k now, which is a far cry from his previous, £3m+ valuation.
