Preston North End will be hoping to cling onto their place in the play-off places between now and the end of the season.

Alex Neil's side have enjoyed a hugely positive campaign in the Championship, with the Lilywhites holding a real chance of securing a top-six finish this term.

Some of Neil's signings have turned out to be masterstrokes, not only this season, but in previous years too, but some have been underwhelming.

Here, we take a look at the five North End players who have lost the most market value since making their debut, as per Transfermarkt.

Bodin has scored four goals for North End since joining from Bristol Rovers in January 2018.

The 28-year-old's market value has dropped by £90,000 since.

28-year-old Moult has also struggled for goals on a regular basis since joining from Motherwell in January 2018.

The striker has scored eight goals in 40 games for North End, and his market value has also dropped by £90.000.

Huntington has made over 270 appearances for Preston since joining from Yeovil Town in 2012, and at 32, naturally his market value will decrease.

The central defender has dropped from £405,000 to £225,000, and has made only nine appearances this term.

In at second is another old player in Paul Gallagher, who is now 35 years of age.

The midfielder's market value has dropped by £855,000 since joining from Leicester City.

At number one is Scott Sinclair, who has scored two goals in 12 games since joining from Celtic.

The winger scored 62 goals in over 160 games for the Hoops, but his market value has dropped by a huge £1.44m.
