It’s been a fine start to the season for Leeds United, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side looking to cement their place in the promotion race in the coming weeks.

Leeds remained unbeaten in the league throughout August, with Bielsa’s side picking up 14 points from their opening six fixtures of the season.

In the coming weeks, Leeds will be looking to establish themselves in the promotion race, but are facing an injury crisis and a tough run of fixtures to match.

Supporters will be confident Leeds can get through this tough patch, particularly with Bielsa pulling the strings.

The Argentinian has transformed a struggling squad into the Championship’s standout outfit, without spending a huge amount of money in the transfer window and working with many of last season’s squad.

Here at FLW, we take a closer look at that squad, ranking who we think are Leeds’ THREE most valuable players…

Peacock-Farrell has limited first-team experience, but is starting to really impress as Leeds’ first choice goalkeeper.

He’s also breaking onto the international scene with Northern Ireland, which will boost his value.

At just 21, he could be worth a fortune in two or three years.

Bamford was signed for a £7m fee over the summer, with Leeds tying the striker down to a long-term contract.

Although he’s had a limited impact so far and is now out injured, he’s one of Leeds’ most valuable players.

Given what Leeds have paid for him and the contract he has behind him, the 25-year-old is worth big money in today’s market.

Jansson is probably the only Leeds player who is definitely worth over £10m.

The Swedish centre-back has a long-term contract at Elland Road and is a full international.

Premier League clubs would be willing to pay £10m+ for the service of Jansson if Leeds don’t win promotion soon.
