The dream of winning back to back promotions from League One to the Premier League is still very much alive for Millwall, despite losing to Fulham last weekend.

The Lions fell to an uncharacteristic 3-0 home defeat against high flying Fulham but still remain in the play-off zone with two games to play.

Neil Harris will be hoping that his side can bounce back from the Fulham defeat and pick up enough points to guarantee a top six finish.

Whether they win promotion or not, it has been an unforgettable season for the South London club.

This year's Player of the Year award is going to be a tight contest and even narrowing it down to Millwall's three best players this season is a very tricky challenge.

Nearly the entire starting XI deserve at least an honourable mention because they have been superb.

But here, FLW pick who we believe are the three best Millwall players this year.

It was a tough pick between Lee Gregory and Steve Morison but we have gone for the latter as his all-round game play is so important for Millwall's style.

Thriving off service from the likes of Ben Marshall and Jed Wallace, Morison has been unplayable at times with his physicality and aerial prowess.

The 34-year-old holds the ball up well, wins headers, chases down the defenders with a high press and has contributed with five goals and eight assists.

Millwall's defence has been so solid and their star man at the back has been Shaun Hutchinson.

Alongside Mahlon Romeo, James Meredith and Jake Cooper, Hutchinson has helped form a very sturdy defence to set the foundation for Millwall's rise up the table.

The 27-year-old might even be a bit disappointed that he was not named in the EFL Team of the Year.

George Saville takes the final spot in our top three.

The former Wolves midfielder has kept things tidy and ticking over in the middle of the park alongside Shaun Williams.

The 24-year-old is a talented midfielder and he has been instrumental in Millwall's success.
