Rangers weighing up move for tricky Championship midfielder

Rangers are keen on bringing in Norwich City winger Sergi Canos on loan in January, according to the Express.

The 19-year old arrived at Carrow Road in the summer, after an impressive loan spell at Brentford last term where he netted 7 times in 38 games.

This season however, the Spaniard has only 5 first team matches for Alex Neil’s men, netting two times, meaning that a potential loan move could be on the cards in January, with former Bees boss Mark Warburton keen to lure the winger to Ibrox.

It is understood that the former Liverpool starlet is aware of the Gers’ interest, but is undecided over a switch to Scotland for the rest of the season.

On the pitch, Norwich lie 12th in the Championship table, after a 3-1 defeat to Reading on Boxing Day.

Canos would certainly add an element of dynamism and creativity to Mark Warburton’s side, but it remains to be seen whether Alex Neil will let the tricky start depart Carrow Road on loan.

So…What do you think Norwich fans? Should Alex Neil be giving Sergi Canos a chance at Norwich City? Is a loan move away from Carrow Road a good choice? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
