Rangers very close to signing Championship star, medical underway

The January transfer window is here and there’s already been plenty to talk about and stories linking players with moves to and from the EFL.

Things certainly look set to be busy at QPR this month, too, with the men from Loftus Road close to the FFP limit and therefore needing to get rid of players as and when they can.

Indeed, we’ve already seen some leave the club recently and now it looks as though Sean Goss could be on his way – but only on a loan deal.

Indeed, according to the BBC, the young, former Manchester United man is undergoing a medical with Scottish side Rangers ahead of a potential transfer for the rest of the campaign.

The 22-year-old, German-born player has been with the Rs since last January after joining from United but he has struggled to make any impression.

Indeed, he has only played 6 times for the men from Loftus Road and so it would seem as though the chance he is set for Ibrox could allow him to kickstart his career.

Let’s see if he does.

The Verdict

It hasn’t worked for Goss so during his time at QPR and it looks as though he is off to Rangers before too long.

He’ll be eager to prove the talent United thought he had, then, and so let’s see if the Gers benefit.
