Reports from the Eastern Daily Press suggest that Scottish Premiership club Rangers have upped the ante with a third approach for Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans.

The 30-year-old has heavily been rumoured to depart Carrow Road this summer, and the Gers have been favourites to land the player's signature, making another bid in their quest to add the Scotland international to their ranks.

Dorrans has got 12 caps for the national team and is reportedly demanding a return to his home land in this transfer window, despite being a prominent member of Norwich's first-team last term.

He has featured in the best part of fifty matches for the Canaries since making the move from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2015, having spent seven years of his career in the West Midlands.

It is unclear as to the fee Rangers have submitted to take Dorrans north of the border, but Norwich remain adamant on keeping hold of one of their key assets after turning down two previous offers.

New boss Farke will be inheriting a squad that finished eighth in the Championship last term, and with six goals and an assist to his name last term, Dorrans made an impact for the Canaries, but whether the £2.98 million-rated star (as per Transfermarkt) is at the club come their first game of the season at Fulham on August 5 remains to be seen.
