Rangers are interested in signing Burnley forward Matej Vydra on loan, according to Sky Sports' live transfer blog (31/01, 13:06pm).
The 27-year-old is expected to leave Turf Moor before tonight's 11pm deadline, with West Bromwich Albion, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest being credited with an interest in the attacker.
The Czech Republic international joined Burnley in the summer of 2018, on the back of winning the Championship golden boot after scoring 22 goals in all competitions for Derby County in 2017/18.
But Vydra has since struggled for regular game time at Turf Moor, making only three Premier League starts under Sean Dyche, scoring two goals in a total of 26 games for the Clarets.
With his contract set to expire at the end of next season, Rangers have now been linked with a move for Vydra, and the Glasgow club are reportedly keen to take Vydra on loan.

Steven Gerrard remained tight-lipped about speculation linking Vydra with a move to Ibrox, with only a matter of hours to go until the transfer window slams shut.
Nottingham Forest have recently bolstered their options in the final third with the signing of Nuno da Costa, and the Reds have also recalled Tyler Walker from his loan spell at Lincoln City.
Bristol City have also made an addition, bringing in Nahki Wells from Burnley, but the Baggies could well be set to bolster their options in the final third before the end of the night.
The Verdict
Vydra is an excellent player at this level - he's proved that he can score goals for fun in the Championship before.
He would be a superb signing for any club in the Championship, especially on loan, but whether Forest and Bristol City need to bring in another forward is another question.
I think that West Brom could do with Vydra, but again, they have plenty of options in the final third, especially after the signings of Callum Robinson and Kamil Grosicki.
