According to The Edinburgh Evening News, Glasgow Rangers will battle it out with Hearts for the signature of Christophe Berra.
Christophe Berra is believed to be keen on a move away from Ipswich Town in the summer and he currently has two Scottish Premiership sides chasing his services.
Hearts had been linked with a move for Christophe Berra, who started his career at Tynecastle and spent seven years at the club before securing a move to England.
After making over 100 appearances each for Wolves and Ipswich, it is believed that the Scotland international wants to return north of the border.
Ipswich have an option to extend the towering centre back’s contract by a further year but Berra is said to be keen on a move to Scotland instead.
Rangers now appear to be rivalling Hearts for the signing of the 32-year-old, if Berra can secure a summer exit from Portman Road.
