Rangers are locked in a transfer tussle with Leeds United and Wolves to the potential signing of Ross County youngster James Graham according to the Daily Record.

The report claims that Steven Gerrard's side have agreed a fee with Ross County for Graham, but have failed to strike an agreement with the forward as of yet.

Graham clearly is a player with potential, with the 16-year-old previously having trials with both Liverpool and Manchester United last year.

You would imagine that a move to Leeds United could have been a tempting proposition for Graham, with Marcelo Bielsa's side in a strong position to win promotion into the Premier League this season.

The Yorkshire-based side are currently sat top of the Championship table, and are seven points clear of third-placed Fulham with just nine matches remaining in this year's campaign.

However, due to recent off-the-field events, that push for promotion into the top-flight has been put on hold for the time being, with no scheduled return date in place as of yet.

Whilst Wolves are another club that are making strides in the right direction, with Nuno Espírito Santo's side currently sat sixth in the Premier League table, whilst also competing in the latter stages of the Europa League.

The Verdict:

It'll be interesting to see which club he opts to move to in the summer.

He's clearly a player with a bright future ahead of him if he's had previous trials with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.

A move to the likes of Rangers, Leeds or Wolves will be a tempting proposition for any player, but if I was in Graham's shoes, I'd be wanting a move to Elland Road.

The Whites have proven that there is a clear pathway through to the first-team for the club's younger players, and that will ultimately be the aim for any player looking to develop in senior football.
