Leeds United could be set for another departure before the end of the January transfer window.

Reports from Football Insider have claimed that the Championship side have received an offer from Rangers for goalkeeper Kamil Miazek.

The 23-year-old is way down the pecking order at Elland Road with Kiko Casilla, Ilian Meslier and new signing Elia Caprile now ahead of him in Marcelo Bielsa's thinking.

Miazek has just six months remaining on his contract with the Championship club, meaning that his future is very much in the balance.

Rangers are keen to sign a goalkeeper this month with Wes Foderingham’s contract set to expire in the summer and Allan McGregor turning 38 on Friday.

It remains to be seen whether a move is likely to be completed before Friday's 11pm deadline but given both side's willingness to do a deal, it's one that looks hopeful.

Can you remember Leeds' first 12 results this season?

The verdict

This is a deal that could be relatively simple to complete.

Kamil Miazek is way down the pecking order at Elland Road meaning that a first team opportunity is highly unlikely to materialise at this point.

With just six months left on his deal it seems that Leeds have made their intentions known and so for the player the priority must be securing a move at the earliest opportunity to reignite his career.

Rangers would be a great place to continue his development and so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
