Rangers eye triple Championship swoop in January

Mark Warburton is keen to add a number of targets to his Glasgow Rangers squad this January and has three Championship players on his radar, according to a report by the Scottish Sun.

Having lost Niko Kranjcar to injury and after releasing Joey Barton, Warburton is eyeing some midfield reinforcements in January.

The three players on Warburton’s wishlist are Conor Hourihane of Barnsley, Jota of Brentford and Norwich City’s Sergi Canos.

It is believed that Rangers are also considering a potential move for free agent Leon Osman, who left Premier League Everton at the end of last season.

Conor Hourihane has been a star performer for Barnsley this season and he has consequently attracted interest from the likes of Celtic and Aston Villa because his contract is up at the end of the season.

Sergi Canos only joined Norwich in the summer and he is thought to be a loan target whilst Jota is currently on loan at Eibar from Brentford.
