Cardiff City continue to ramp up their preparations for the 2022/23 Championship campaign.

Their season gets underway on July 30th, with a home match against relegated Norwich City.

That date is now less than four weeks away, so there is no time to waste in the transfer market for the Bluebirds.

With that being said, here, we've collected all the Cardiff City transfer news from over the weekend that you may have missed.

Aaron Ramsey update

Any hopes of the club sealing a double switch for Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey are dead in the water after Bale's move to LAFC, however, a new update has cast doubts over whether Ramsey will arrive, too.

As per reports, Juventus are not planning on terminating the midfielder's contract early, which is due to run until 2023.

Cardiff were reportedly set to offer Ramsey a deal were he to become a free agent, but that is now seemingly unlikely.

For now, then, this one looks to be put to bed.

Competition for Levitt

Another transfer news story that broke over the weekend revolved around Man United youngster Dylan Levitt.

The Bluebirds have previously been linked with a loan move for the player, but they could be set for competition in doing so.

That's according to Alan Nixon via his Patreon, who claims that Dundee United are keen to bring Levitt north of the border.

Levitt spent last season on loan at Dundee and won the fans player of the year award.

Tyler Roberts

Finally, a third transfer story that emerged over the weekend regards Leeds United attacker Tyler Roberts.

Mail Online report that Cardiff are one of several Championship clubs looking to gatecrash QPR's pursuit of the 23-year-old.

The Welsh international featured 23 times in the Premier League, but was mostly limited to substitute appearances.

Leeds are said to be potentially willing to allow him to depart the club on loan next term.
