For Sheffield United and Derby, it has been a case of chasing a spot in the playoffs in the Championship, with the Blades making a surprise push and the Rams doing their usual in trying to make it as hard work as possible to reach the top six.

Both clubs will be hoping to finish the season with a flurry and seal a spot in the top six, but both teams will also have one eye on the summer, and wondering just who they can bring in to strengthen the ranks amongst their respective squads.

For Sheffield United, adding some experienced and capable Championship players is a must, with some of their signings from the lower leagues such as Ched Evans and Ryan Leonard yet to pay off, and we at FLW think raiding a club like Derby for someone like defender Andy Keogh could be a shrewd piece of business.

Often voted in and among the top XI's in the Championship, Keogh has been a rock solid presence for the Rams over the course of a few seasons now, and it is no surprise to see him still doing the business.

However, things have turned slightly sour for the Irishman of late, being dropped from the line up last weekend, and he could be open to a move in the summer.

The Blades completed a similar signing by capturing Richard Stearman in the summer, and the signing of someone like Keogh would represent a similar sort of deal done by Chris Wilder, who will be keen to add some experience to his ranks.

Blades and Rams fans, what do you think? Good deal? Let us know in the comments!
