According to Portuguese newspaper Record – via talkSPORT – Roma have joined the race for Anderson Talisca.
The attack-minded player spent last season at Besiktas on loan where he did a sterling job.
They, however, cannot seal a permanent deal for him and so it looks as though he could be heading elsewhere as Benfica evidently do not want him.
The report refers to the fact that Wolves are among those looking to get him into their squad as they prepare for the Premier League, but it is Liverpool who apparently lead the way.
After the Reds missed out on the Champions League last weekend, they surely want to add to their squad and ensure they can start winning silverware.
Talisca appears a target, then, but the battle for him only seems to be intensifying with the likes of Roma and Wolves in the mix.
This could be some battle to watch out for in the coming weeks this summer.
He’s a player who looks ready to kick on to the next level and plenty of big clubs are linked with him.
Certainly, if Wolves want to sign him they are going to have to put in a good offer.
