It has been a difficult season for Morecambe in League One so far.

The Shrimps secured a shock promotion from League Two in 2021 and defied the odds once again to stay up in the third tier last campaign.

But life has been tough for Derek Adams' men this time around and striker Cole Stockton, who scored 23 league goals last term, has not been able to replicate his excellent form this season.

While they have secured some decent results of late against some of the division's bigger sides, it seems as though it will be another relegation battle at the Mazuma Stadium.
