Hearts are having to prepare for life in the Scottish Championship after they suffered relegation from the Scottish Premier League after a turbulent campaign last season, and it will be vital that they prepare in the right way so they can bounce back.

The Scottish Premier League season is already underway, but the Championship campaign is yet to resume which will at least give Hearts some more time to make sure they have the right tools in place to help them fight for promotion, although given all the financial uncertainty that will not be easy.

The Championship campaign gets underway in October and Hearts will need to add the right sort of players to their squad to enable them to compete towards the top end of the division next season ,while they will also hope to keep hold of as many of their key players as they can.
